The Faculty of Administration of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi came into existence in the year 2002 when the University was born. The Faculty started with three management programmes – B.Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Business Administration and B.Sc. Public Administration in three departments: Accounting, Business Administration, and Public Administration, with first intakes commencing their studies in the 2002/2003 academic year.

The Faculty has since added five more departments – Banking & Finance, Entrepreneurship Studies, Taxation, Marketing, and Security Studies.

B.SC PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Candidates will be admitted into the undergraduate Degree programme at the 100 Level and 200 Levels. They will be admitted based on their ordinary and advanced level/Diploma/professional certificates.

ENTRY INTO THE PROGRAMME

Candidate seeking admission into 100 level should posses a minimum of Five (5) credit should posses a minimum of five Credit passes in SSCE at the GCE/WASE/NECO conducted examinations at not more than two sitting. Credits passes must include English, Mathematics, Economics, Government, History or Civic Education.

Candidates seeking admission into 200 level in the programme must posses in addition to the O’level qualifications,  two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Government, Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Geography or statistics; Lower credit passes in ND/NCE in related fields and subject combinations.

Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects: Economics and any two (2) of financial Accounting, Business Management, Geography. Any other relevant qualification  acceptable by the Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
